How to Get Map Packs for Black Ops 2

[BO2] Would it still be worth it to buy the map packs at this point?

Just got the game for the first time. Wasn't into cod back in the heyday but love it now. Are they good? Do the people who populate the game have them? Will they be played at this point?

Don't know why I'm getting down voted? I'm genuinely curious

level 2

Idk man, it's deserted, full of hackers. Amazing game, my favorite cod by far but I think you should spend your money elsewhere Edit: didn't downvote just replying

never buy call of duty dlc on pc, will be dead within a year. cant speak for consoles

level 2

That's sad, but good to know.

level 1

The map packs are great for this game. Even though Activi$ion won't lower the prices for a 6 year old game, it's still a good investment because there's a lot to do in the zombies maps and the multiplayer maps are superb. I play Black Ops 2 with bots because honestly screw this online community.

level 2

I've just recently discovered the joy of bots. No lag, no hacking, and you can play any DLC map you want whenever you want. I only wish BO2 let you play all the modes with bots (missing gun game and a few others) and 9v9, both of which they added in BO3.

level 1

Map packs definietly makes it a lot harder to find multiplayer games. I have 3 map packs and I'll get 7 games at most in team deathmaych. For zombies, people play mostly origins and town. Maybe getting one or two map packs is worth it

level 1

Well if your a zombies fan I would

level 1

I just bought uprising and got into a game with studio. I have Reveloution too and no issues. Granted you don't get DLC maps often

level 1

It depends on which game mode zombies yes definitely get it... but if your getting it for multiplayer than don't because it will be harder to find lobby's

level 1

I'm on Xbox and I still find domination, tdm, and sometimes kill confirmed lobbies. I have the season pass. If you don't buy all the dlc you won't find any lobbies. Either buy them all for this game or don't buy any

level 2

I don't have the DLC on Xbox and find plenty of lobbies...

level 1

If you want to play zombies, then yes. If multiplayer, I'd say no, as you will probably find more matches without DLC

level 1

No, unless you're only playing zombies. Even though the multiplayer packs are great you will have even more trouble finding lobbies, let alone ones that aren't hacked

level 1

Dude the dlc maps never come up. I bought the game a couple months ago and I just played the first DLC map, outlaw. And thats all if my DLC experience. I wish it showed uo more, that map was a lot of fun. Its actually from black ops2. However, you really wont experience the dlc.

level 1

My CoD that is before Black Ops 3 I'd just steer clear on because it's either empty, hacked to shit, or just not worth spending the money on.

Retro CoDs are fun for a few hours but not worth the longhair.

level 1

Not really but only because it makes finding actual online matches more difficult. If you're a fan of zombies then maybe for that. What really needs to happen though, is that they should start giving the maps for free as Overwatch does and support the game through their loot boxes.

level 1

no sorry but some of those maps are in Bo3 Zombie Chronicles which you would find some lobbies & for the MP maps of the bo2 dlc might be deserted

level 1

I started playing bo2 again this week and its my favourite cod but i would wait for bo 4

level 1

Me and my friends still consistently go back and play the maps and DLC all the way back to Black Ops I, If you enjoy it you're bound to love them if you didn't get to try them, and it's pretty easy to find others who will play with you as well
