Will Disney Plus Have All Mcu Movies

Kevin Feige, the new Chief Creative Officer of Marvel — and longtime overlord of the MCU — has a remarkable track record when it comes to making superhero movies. Marvel has had a successful decade, raking in billions of dollars and 20+ movies (and counting). They're not slowing down, andnow, Marvel is delving into streaming content for Disney+.

Marvel characters have had series before, like the original Netflix and Hulu shows, but these new series are going to use figures from the movies in their shows. And now, Feige is saying that characters going back and forth between MCU films and shows will be the new normal.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe won't just pertain to the cinemas

According to The Beat (comicsbeat.com), The Hollywood Reporter Awards Chatter podcast with Scott Feinberg had Feige on as a guest, and he went into a little more detail on how Disney+ Marvel shows and movies are going to coexist with each other from now on. "It's specifically the plan that the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be in theaters and on Disney+. We are certainly doing cinematic art level productions for Disney+."

Feige said some of the shows are still filming and talked about how their personal stories might advance further, outside of the films. "Falcon Winter Soldier is currently shooting, and I just got back from the set ofWandaVision, which is shooting. All of those characters will undergo transformative, I hope very exciting experiences in that show, and then go into our movies, so they'll go back and forth."

He also touched on the new characters there were announced. "Some characters we've announced like She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight, you will meet for the first time in a Disney+ show, and then they will go into the movies. But the MCU will now go back and forth."

This makes sense, considering Feige said they're both essential moving forward

A Bloomberg article came out Nov. 7, and it was the first time Feige confirmed that MCU movies wouldn't be understood without the new Disney+ shows. "If you want to understand everything in future Marvel movies, he says, you'll probably need a Disney+ subscription, because events from the new shows will factor into forthcoming films," the article said.

Scarlet Witch is going to be important to a future Marvel film

Scarlet Witch is getting her own show with Vision, and she's a particularly important character, Feige noted. "Scarlet Witch will be a key character in that movie, and Feige points out that the Loki series will tie in, too," the Bloomberg article said.

On the THR podcast, Feige stated how revolutionary the show would be. "If you can see the set of WandaVision, which I just came from. It's unlike anything we've done before and anything this genre has done before."

Feige can imagine a world where "superhero fatigue" exists

That sounds like alot, and Feige knows that. He can envision a world where people are tired of the Iron Man and Captain Marvel stories. "I've imagined that since the day I started at this company 20 years ago, and I've wondered every few years if I want to stay or if I want to go," he said.

But he's still hopeful about the near future. "The truth is I've always said that I'll go when I get bored, or hopefully just before I get bored," he said. "We're doing so much right now in so many different ways with so much support of the studio – Disney+ being a big part of that."
